For example, the battery compartment on the gen 1 Tough System radio is too small for flexvolts in general, let alone the larger 9/12AH ones. The rest of the tools that don't have an enclosed battery compartment (or have a large enough opening) will work. I have ver 2 of the radio. 9ah fits fine. 12 probably will too.
